Chico Applies For Grant In Hopes Of Landing Air Service
CHICO — Chico has made an application for a federal grant that could give the city a better chance at landing commercial air service.
Airport Manager Sherry Miller confirmed that the application to the Federal Aviation Administration for a $500,000 grant was made by the city earlier this month. That money would be used to subsidize service if ticket sales fall short.
